NASUM Dance Scarves, 20 Pieces

As far as I’m concerned, no class would be complete without dance scarves!

They work great for any number of activities. Here are a few of the ways my kiddos find the most fun!

  • Ocean waves
  • Bird, butterfly, or fairy wings
  • A curtain. I like to have the dancers hold one up in front of their faces from two corners and slowly move it across the front of their face before peeking out the side on the specified number! Makes learning how to count as fun as peek-a-boo!

Super Z Outlet Nylon Cornhole Bean Bags

Bean bags are so versatile and there are so many fun ways to use them in preschool dance class! Here is how I like to integrate them in the studio:

  • For flap practice in tap. Set the beanbag on the ground and have the kiddos’ goal be to connect their toe with the beanbag on the first movement. This will send it flying elsewhere which is so fun! They then need to follow it and try another flap where it landed.
  • Balancing practice. They sit perfecting on the top of little heads for walking across the floor or balancing.
  • As a placeholder showing whose turn it is to do any specific job in class or an exercise.
